Location, service- all staff I interacted with were excellent and extremely helpful and friendly. Of note, Bo at the front desk helped me greatly with directions and suggestions for the area. The decor is stylish and the individual rooms have been recently renovated and are extremely clean and nice. My room had a great view (220). The mushroom risotto I ordered from room service was amazing.

My room was was on the second floor directly above the cafe and was very noisy. I could hear all the music being played and the guests talking on the patio. The wireless signal was weak and unreliable. The sink in the washroom drained very slowly and there was a strange smell in the hallways. The building seems more like an old apartment building than a boutique hotel. I didn't mind any of it, but for the rate I paid it seemed overpriced. However, the hotel is undergoing some renovations.

The hotel was the absolute worst I have every stayed in. It looked like the place where you rent rooms by the hour. Filthy and uncomfortable, breakfast was not a meal but a vector for disease. Horrible!!! I will tell everyone I know and write as many reviews as I can on every site I find possible to tell people never to stay at the crescent. We relocated to the THOMPSON HOTEL ON WILSHIRE just 100m away and that was HEAVEN_THE BEST HOTEL!!!!

Elegant and tidy room wonderful bathroom hotel personnel was paramount next to the shopping and dining area in Beverly Hills good cocktails

Room a bit smallish a bit noisy for our taste (noise from the corridor)

  • Group of friends

Stylish, comfortable, affordable and a great location. Would definitely stay there again!

    No hairdryer in bathroom

  • Older travelers

Liked everything! All the design features were especially delightful. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to enjoy the terrace/patio/bar areas, but they looked marvelous and we saw many others having a good time there. Our room was very comfortable, quiet, and provided all the expected amenities (except a hair dryer). We both loved the good shower, set high on the wall for my 6'5" husband to actually be comfortable. All in all, an excellent find in our book. We've already recommended it to friends and relatives. Kudos.

Just the lack of a hair dryer.

  • Family with children

The fact that we did not need a car while staying there. It was very relaxing after a big trip from Australia. A quiet place. And the history is interesting.

They did not return our car key after opening the trunk when we rented one on the last day. So we have to return or chase up the mistake. The alarm clock was also set one hour we did not need to catch a flight.

  • Older travelers

Location was great, the staff at the desk and bar were very nice, the parking attendents were very nice. Price for parking was the lowest rate we found at surrounding hotels.

It was very dirty! The wireless was terrible. There were often items not left by cleaning staff (extra soap, wash cloths, a clean bath mat, toilet paper, etc.) I don't think the place had been swept or vacuumed for weeks, no kidding. The wireless was terrible, really never worked at all. I can't emphasize that enough. They need to do a better job cleaning and get the wireless thing fixed. The place is simple in décor so would not be hard to keep clean.

Friendly service, imaginative food served, and convenient location.

The rooms are too small with an inadequate closet..too short for hanging up pants, etc. It would have been nice to have a comfortable chair and lamp for reading, but there wasn't room.

  • Couple

The staff was so un friendy !!! I never would ever stay there again honestly 100 dollars somewhere else is sooo worth it! The managing staff is the worst and honestly need to be removed ! The hotel was small and was okay, felt gross sleeping in there beds and the hall ways are so loud you cant sleep! Also not safe, didnt trust staff at all!!

  • Single

Comfy little place. Outdoor patio in front with fireplace great for a couple cocktails.

  • Group of friends

The staff is very friendly and attentive! The rooms are cozy with a modern feel to them. The beds are super comfortable and clean. The hotel itself is beautiful and located near delicious restaurants and shops (Rodeo Dr).

It's true, the walls are paper thin. I can sleep through anything so it didn't bother me at all. Sensitive sleepers...beware. Also, expect to pay $28 for parking. Oh and the food at the hotel is terrible and definitely overpriced.

  • Family with children

Didn't match with description of hotel and stars.

    furniture in rooms,small closets

It's in a prime location with easy access to Beverly Hills shopping and Whole Foods Market. The neighborhood is quite and low-key.

Noise travels so easily between rooms. The sliding, bathroom door in the room did not allow for great privacy.

For the prize we got the one night in crescent hotel, the room was sufficient, clean and nice. The hotel is located in beverly hills and we liked this location to stay, we had a car so we reached everything really good- the guys they parked our car were really frindly and intereted where we from and what we are doing in los angeles; really nice people. The bar and the area outside where you can sit were really nice too, a few people were there and it was a nice time there.

I don't think we would book this hotel for the normal prize- we had a really good prize for one night. I think the normal prize you have to pay is to high for this little rooms. The rooms are good if you really just want to sleep there- for a longer stay I would not recommend this hotel. To park your car there it costs $26.00 every 24 hours.
